Many times we wonder why we even need to pray. For some, it seems prayer is a useless venture because they seems not to be answers coming from it. But, one thing is for sure, we need stop praying. Our hearts are full of prayers, wishes, desires, hopes and aspirations. This is the human predicament, such that no mater how we try to wish this aspect of of our humanity away, it persistently stays with us. We channel this to different ends. Sometimes we share it with friends, sometime, we bottle them up within us and most times we share it with whatever it is we believed shapes and conditions our reality. For Christians, this is God, the father of our lord, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are full of intense moment of thoughtful prayers that unite us to the divine. Click to read this poem on why pray.
